Numerical Analysis of Aerodynamic Drag for the Hyperloop System

The Hyperloop vehicle is a means of transport in which the pod advances at fast velocity inside low-pressure tube to reduce coefficient drag. Aerodynamic drag one most significant elements consider while studying such systems. design was created on ANSYS SpaceClaim and it consists Two-Dimensional model with tapered ends diminish Since both are tapered, reduced significantly as compared other designs. In this paper, analyzed different speeds, namely 60 ms-1, 120 180 260 300 ms-1 FLUENT numerical simulations were performed keeping blockage ratio fixed. Appropriate conditions, equations k-epsilon turbulence applied produce desired result. All values analyzed, hence, graph plotted. It observed that decreases an increase velocity.
